The Perfect Palm

One of my favorite shots along the Road to Hana on Maui.  I found it in the little village of Kenae.  When I went back a few years later it wasn't there.  The sea had reclaimed it's land.  I was really glad I had gotten this picture when I did on our 25th anniversary trip in 2000.

I printed this out to frame it.

    Funny how connections are made. This picture reminded me of a movie from the old, old days, "Trail of the Lonesome Pine".
